Rain Resmeldt, founder of Resmeldt Studio, at the Saigon studio bar

A letter from the founder

I started writing at fourteen. I've been listening ever since.

The professional thread

The through-line is simple: I work with leaders on complicated situations — growth that has outgrown its structure, AI that has arrived faster than the operating model, teams executing quickly without a shared direction — and turn them into clear decisions, workflows and language people can act on.

In practice that has meant Chief Marketing Officer at Visionest Institute since 2024, and marketing and advisory leadership before that at GoWorkaBit, Creditinfo, CV-Online and Telia Estonia — the full timeline is further down this page.

The method is written down as Human Clarity OS™, applied through advisory engagements. The chapters below are where it came from.

Chapter 01 — Journalism

Istarted writing for newspapers at fourteen. Long before I had any theory of communication, I had a quiet obsession with the way a well-told sentence could change the temperature of a room. The byline was incidental. The attention was the point.

A decade of editorial work taught me something the industry rarely says out loud: information is cheap, attention is precious, and the rarest skill in modern media is making another person feel met — without ever announcing that you are doing it.

I never quite picked a side between journalism and design. Most of the work I care about lives in the seam between the two.

Chapter 02 — Book, film, travel

I wrote a book. I made documentary and travel work. I hosted conversations on stages and at small tables. Each medium taught me the same thing from a different angle: that the form is not the point. The atmosphere is the point. The form is just the vehicle that delivers the atmosphere intact.

Saigon, the city that taught me to slow down without apology.

Chapter 03 — India, Bali, Saigon

The studio idea began, properly, in transit. India in monsoon. A long Bali year of rented rooms and bad WiFi. Then Saigon — where the only thing moving faster than the scooters was my realization that almost everyone I met, regardless of city, was carrying the same quiet exhaustion.

We are living through a strange chapter. More signals, less signal. More access, less attention. More loneliness inside more connection. People are not bored. People are over-addressed.

The bottleneck is no longer the cost of making things. It is the cost of making things matter.

Chapter 04 — HÄPI and the studio

I opened a home restaurant called HÄPI, because the only way to study atmosphere is to design it from scratch — light, sound, food, pacing, the choreography of strangers becoming temporary friends. Six hundred guests and two cities later, I had learned more about brand work from a dinner table than from any deck.

Atmosphere is the medium. Everything else is decoration.

The same question now sits at the centre of my business work: how can organisations move faster without becoming less human?

Coda — Why Resmeldt exists now

Resmeldt Studio is what happens when all of that finally lives under one roof. A founder-led studio, working with a trusted network of specialists when a project requires it. A stubborn belief that the most interesting work happens when people are allowed to be a little more themselves.

The studio's reason to exist is small and specific — to make work that returns people, gently, to themselves.

Estonia → Ukraine → Georgia → Armenia

Alongside the organisational roles, the work increasingly moved across borders through entrepreneurship, export-development and international learning programmes. These are programmes, not employers — a parallel layer connected to the Visionest years.

Ukraine

My contributionBuilt the strategic communication, positioning and digital outreach that brought 45 teams and more than 120 participants into a six-month international-growth programme.

Ongoing: Export Growth & Jobs for Ukraine — Building EU-Ready Companies and Export Sales Talent (April 2026 – March 2027).

Georgia

Visionest / ESTDEV / UNDP-related export and international-business development work. A major export-training programme ran from approximately September through April 2025.

My contributionBuilt the international communication and business outreach that carried a seven-month export-training programme from launch to completion.

Armenia

Export-development and internationalisation work supporting Armenian companies. By 2026, Visionest was working with an Export Accelerator involving approximately 40 selected companies.

My contributionShaped the positioning, communication and digital support behind an export accelerator working with around 40 selected companies.
